But you could call Nordstrom and talk with a sales associate and ask the question. I have found the shoe SA's at Nordie's very knowledgeable. They might even have free stretching available--Macy's does.</p> <p>I did find that my recently purchased riding boots (I've worn them maybe seven times?) are still somewhat stiff in the ankle. I think it is because of the lining--I think the leather may soften, but the thick lining seems to be quite stiff. I've never had boots like this, that were stiff, so just wondering if they would soften up and get comfortable. Will they soften over time? Will they stretch a teensy bit in the toe? They are just slightly tight on the right foot, but a teensy bit of stretching would overcome that.</p> <p>I've tried finding boots I like and it's so hard, but these are the first I've liked.</p>
