You could even go for a close to the skin black lace top worn over black tank.&nbsp;</p> <p>Hosiery: nude with these booties look good, but you could go opaque, although I would avoid solid black as it is too scholar, and not evening wear enough (especially with the shown booties. Otherwise, opaque black with patent dress shoes would look nice). Have fun with them, as the skirt makes the legs the star of the show. Although #6 still whacks it out of the ball park. xo </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/do-any-of-these-bubble-skirt-outfits-work#post-1114128 Sat, 14 Dec 2013 19:48:39 +0000 Diana 1114128@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>Well, I was planning on going out and doing some shopping and maybe looking for a sparkly top and/or an oversized bolero (that Angie suggested I pair with my bubble skirt). &nbsp;However, it's already started snowing here and it's wicked cold, so I've decided to stay in and play in my closet instead. &nbsp;</p> <p>Here's a couple of potential holiday outfits (not too dressy) with the bubble skirt. &nbsp;I don't have another bolero/capelet thingy that is shaped like my autumnal color one, but I found this fuchsia handknit shrug that I had forgotten about. &nbsp;I have it over a polka dot cami here but I think plain black is probably better.&nbsp; I also thought my burnout red cami with a black cropped jacket might work.&nbsp; I am also trying a couple of belts on the skirt since I don't love how the waistband is a little too wide, high, and loose. &nbsp;I tried a skinny gold one (too high contrast? too skinny?) and a tied wide black one (which I kind of like, but is it too much with the bubble skirt?).</p> <p>Please note: I would obviously wear hose of some sort with these. &nbsp;I could do nude, sheer black, patterned black,&nbsp;or opaque black. &nbsp;Also, I'm not wearing a bra, if you're wondering why my bust looks odd in some of the photos! &nbsp;;) &nbsp;</p> <p>1: fuchsia shrug, gold belt<br />2: fuchsia shrug, no belt<br />3-4: red cami, black jacket, wide tied black belt.<br />5: an old attempt (from my K/R post) with a loose cropped red top; this didn't get much love the first time around but I'm asking again.<br />6: the original capelet outfit. &nbsp;This *is* still an option for holiday outfit but it reads more autumn to me. </p>
