I can't really tell from the photos too well. With the rear view in #3, I'd want the hem opening to be on the wider end so it's obvious that these are "Big Shorts". If the hem opening is slimmer or closer to your legs, then I think the pulled up back view is better so the shorts look like "big shorts".
