I had this fabric in a stash that was gifted to me. I was told it's from the 70s or 80's . So, I wanted a simple project to get back into sewing, and this skirt was on my mind and I happened to have the teal top (I couldn't capture the correct color in the photos, it's teal bit looks blue). The waist can be worn 2 ways #1 unfolded high waist, in #2 folded down. It felt weird to wear with sneakers at first, but I actually started liking it a lot. I plan on making another one in a different fabric and also finish a dress that has a ruffle wrap skirt. </p>
