Seconding the Crocs.

When I went to New York, all the walking made my feet swell up too big for my boots, and these babies saved the day, big time. Crocs actually has a fair amount that look like REAL shoes.

The Tevas look good. I have some similar from Merrell that I wear on long days. Those leopard Crocs are awfully tempting!

I joined just to tell you to take a look at Crocs flats. I just went to Disney in July and wore some Crocs flats I had just purchased and my feet were in heaven. I was there for four days and wore them up and down the park. Nary a blister and the shoes handled all weather (both rain and shine when I was there) with aplomb. Didn't look half bad either My sister, who is around the same size as me brought some ill-advised, but rather stylish sandals to wear and after one day, I handed her my extra pair of crocs out of sympathy. She is now a convert!

I love the Adrina flats:
http://www.crocs.com/crocs-adr.....wear-flats

As well as these Kadee Leopard flats (the style I wore):

You know what, my Keen mary janes may work. The problem is they got wet and then crushed, and the back by the heel is now warped. But I think if I wear them around a bit before the trip, they will reshape and be comfortable again. Yay for not having to spend $ on shoes I don't want and being IK's shoe twin!

You want covered toes at Disney, and walking in general (although you will be mostly standing in line at Disneyland unless you have a medical reason to get bumped to the front of the line). I have a pair of black mary jane Keens I have worn on every multipurpose trip pretty much ever, and those Tevas are reasonably similar.

My outdoorsy hikey friend from Colorado swears by Merrells: http://www.zappos.com/merrell-.....rell+women

Una, what do your Keens look like? I think footwear is excused at an amusement park especially if you are chasing kids, riding rollercoasters and getting drenched by White Water Canyons or Roman Rapids or whatever they are called nowadays. More than a workout for your body and your wallet! HA.

I am SUPER fired up about the OC meet up! Wish I was joining!

Those Tevas look good. Will you be bringing a tote or backpack to the park? I would slip in a pair of flip flops to wear on the water rides. They're small and light to carry in a bag. I hate walking around in wet shoes.

ETA: As per my more is more philosophy, I'm checking my bag so I envy your editing skills. Plus I don't like limiting my hair and skin needs to those little bottles.

Because I refuse to check a bag domestically anymore, I am stuck with whatever I can cram into a carryon for our upcoming trip to Disney, Palm Springs and YLF lunch! I usually just wear my Teva flip-flops on beachy trips, but as this will involve roller coasters and water rides, lots of walking and hiking, and a meeting with some KILLER gals, I am at a loss for shoes that will stay on my feet, look nice, not be too hot, handle water, and be comfortable for all day walking.

Oh, yeah, and I don't want to spend a lot of $ on shoes I won't wear except on vacations and for summer casual.

I've come up with these Tevas:

http://www.endless.com/Teva-Wo.....B003VPAA38

Any other ideas, or will these do?
