They do evolve their line very slowly, offer many of the same designs for years, and rarely have sales, so I would guess that they'd be able to continue to sell their inventory, at the same price points, in 6-12 months, even if it's not selling now. (So, that fits with Angie's thoughts that "trends will become even more trivial.) That said, their very niche business model is far from the norm. I'm sure there are lots of retailers with vast amounts of spring/summer inventory that they realize will never sell, and I can imagine that the current effects on the supply chain might lead to reduced options for the fall. I would also imagine that future pricing decisions might be affected by their target demographic. My inbox is flooded with discounts from most retailers. It's heartbreaking for the industry, and all those affected. (Of course, it negatively affects YLF and my own consulting business too.....).</p> <p>Personally, I think retail will change forever once we are on the other side of the pandemic. Many stores will close. Online shopping and wardrobe rentals will take over. Retail assortments will be smaller. Trends will become even more trivial.&nbsp;</p> <p>As for prices?
