				<description>&#060;p&#062;Janet, I had a similar problem with Massimo Dutti; the original delivery took almost a month with no tracking and when it arrived, the quality was terrible. So, the wait for delivery was only exceeded by the frustration of trying to return the items; it was a nightmare!&#060;br /&#062;I learned that the best way to purchase anything M.D. is through the Zara site. Things come fast and if they are not acceptable can be returned through Zara, either in person or by courier. Bypass the Massimo site altogether except when you are in Spain and can purchase in person.&#060;/p&#062;

&#060;p&#062;I’ll have a full day in Madrid to get myself on local time and recover — a friend is lending me her apartment for a couple of nights! I have no agenda there, so perhaps a little shopping may be a possibility. And of course later in the trip too! Can’t hurt to look, at the very least. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Lisa, so many people arrive in Santiago de Compostela, check in at the cathedral to complete their pilgrimage, and then have to rush home. I’m going to give myself a bit of time there to explore and process and recover from my walk, so it’s good to know there is shopping there. Mental note to bring my packable duffel for any items I buy!&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Roberta, good point about Desigual. I had a couple of their items many years ago that were fun. I’m into less embellishment these days, but they do have some interesting things. &#060;/p&#062;

It was to wear to a friend's wedding; I was one of the musicians. I was on a timeline but when I ordered it, still had 3-4 &#038;nbsp;weeks until I needed to attend the wedding. The dress didn't arrive. Tracking was no help. Called J. Crew and was honest about the situation. They attempted to overnight a replacement dress but it didn't arrive either. So, I called and just asked for a refund. (At this point, I was distraught and figuring out Plan C.) Two days before leaving for the wedding, the originally ordered first dress arrived. Yep. For real.&#038;nbsp;

They offered an alternative item in some cases, and I learned to look for the more prominently displayed ship times.&#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;Not sure if that has changed, but do check the delivery times before buying.&#038;nbsp;&#060;br /&#062;In better news, I suddenly have 2 day delivery from Amazon and Uniqlo. Uniqlo has been very slow, previously, like two weeks. Now two days. I am thrilled.&#038;nbsp;

It hasn’t arrived, the tracking information is incomplete, and customer service hasn’t been terribly helpful (they told me to wait until after the 19th for it to be delivered before contacting them again — of course that was a Friday so I’m cooling my heels this weekend). I will contact them again on Monday, but if it turns out the sweater is lost, I’m out of luck because it’s now sold out in my size. Ugh. Just venting. Now I know why I mainly stick with Nordstrom.
