Thank you all very much for your input! It looks that returning them would probably be the best thing to do.

As good as they look Tanya, I vote return. You have plenty of skinnies in colours! Put the money towards something more varied in your wardrobe.

I would return them and use the money toward something you will wear more often. Colored denim is something I tire of easily but maybe that's just me.

I think they look great and black and white combos with them will look quite striking. The question is will you wear them? If so then they are keepers IMO.

I would return them I think. They look great, but I like the light blue ones better on you and you don't sound (correct me if I'm wrong) very enthusiastic about them. If it boils down to these skinnies you'll probably only wear a few times or a new knitted blazer that you would wear a lot and really need, I'd go with the blazer.

Thank you Manidipa and Jen! Yes, I do have what to wear the turquoise pair with - I wouldn't need a single new item. Hmm, I guess I am still not certain what I should do.

Tanya, I'll add another point. How much in your closet does it already work with, if it is clearly something you hadn't planned to buy? If it would make other purchases necessary, I think it should make the decision to let go that much easier...

Brighter ones look casual and fun, lighter ones look more sophisticated. I think they give out two different looks even if they are the same shade. I enable you and say keep both, you have the figure for skinnies and they look great on you.

Ana and Bella, you offer some great advice. Hmm, honestly spoken, I would like andcould use a second lightweight knitted blazer more. Bella, I have been tring to decide if I am brave enough to wear them to work. So far I wore wine, emerald and light blue ones to the lab. I am gathering courage for the orchid pair, and will definitely wear it at some point soon. The turquoise is brighter than all of them, and I am just not sure about the possible comments. Hmm... it seems that it might be smarter to return them.

Would you wear your turquoise skinnies to work? If yes, they might add variety to your summer wardrobe, otherwise return, you'll have plenty of stuff to wear on the weekends.

Hmm...I slightly prefer the pale blue skinnies on you, probably because I'm just used to seeing you in pastels and mid tones. The turquoise ones look good too, though. They are so bright and I think you could have a lot of fun with them. Is there something else you think you might want more for the same price? That's usually how I decide to keep or return.

Thank you ladies ! So to clarify: the pale blue ones are here to stay, they have already been worn and they are what I wanted in the first place. Yes, I can definitely keep the turquoise pair too, just wondering if I should. And, both colors are a bit brighter IRL - my camera tends to wash the colors out a little.

Can you keep both? The turquoise is a bright and the pale blue is almost more of a neutral colour (at least to my eye on my monitor here). The baby-blue will come in handy for those 'tonal' looks, whereas the turquoise will serve as a punched-up shot of bright colour. Although they are both technically "blue" - I feel like they are two different colours entirely. On my monitor, the baby blue ones look almost like they are a pale grey.

When shopping for colored skinnies recently, I got the orchid (pink/purplish) pair I posted last week and a second one that looked pale blue on the screen ( one of those buy one get one deals). I wanted light blue to serve as a base for tonal outfits with brighter/darker blue tops. However, when they arrived, they turned out to be bright turquoise !!! Luckily, in the meantime I found a different, proper light blue pair and got it (posted a couple of days ago).

I do not know if I should keep or return the turquoise pair. They fit well, I like them and they were a bargain ($25 from $70 originally). But do I really need two pairs of blue colored skinnies in different shades of blue? If I kept it, the turquoise pair would be worn in very different manner ( e.g. with black/white combo) than the pastel blue. My current colored jeans collection includes skinny bootcuts in wine and eggplant and skinnies in emerald, orchid and baby blue. So I am looking for some YLF wisdom to help me solve this problem. In addition to the photograph of the turquoise pair, unstyled, (they are brighter IRL then on the photo) I am also attaching that of baby blue pair from couple of days ago for color comparison.
