Yeah, my (very limited) experience with AA is they run incredibly small. I have one of their tees in two sizes; the L fits well, the M is a bit snug ~ and I'm typically a S or XS in most clothing lines these days. I was really excited when the teachers chose to go outside of the costume books, and use this American Apparel dress for the Lyrical class (in tan).<br /> <a href="http://store.americanapparel.net/rsacf300.html?cid=29" rel="nofollow">http://store.americanapparel.n.....tml?cid=29</a><br /> But it's been such a hassle having to order on our own! First, I ordered her a small and a medium- which is what she usually wears in juniors, since I know that AA runs small. The medium we couldn't even get zipped up- it got stuck right at her ribcage! Then I ordered a large and an XL. The XL came, and fits her around, but is long through the bodice. The large is on it's way. I sure hope it fits! I also still have the three other sizes- I'm hoping that someone from class still needs one and can buy directly from me so that I don't have to pay to ship them back. Honestly though, if my 12 year old needs an XL I don't know what some of the older/bigger girls are going to do because she is not the biggest kid in the class. </p>
