The catch is that in my experience they're heavy on the foot, so they put a lot of strain on the upper straps. I find the key for me is to not get upset if I lose out on the item. If I need/love it that much, then pay the higher price. But if I love it while still being able to live without it ( sounds stupid I know, clothes should not be THAT important), then just keep stalking and I will frequently be able to get it on sale. I have also learned that even if I thought the item was really important to me, I may not wear it as much as I think, because my wardrobe is large. So the days of thinking "I must pay full price for this expensive thing" are not really there for me much. Also the hankering may pass. Many of my favourite items have been bought half price. I don't always know they will be favourites until afterwards though, that's the thing.<br /> So I think this may be only one of the many great deals of your future life. So I've been looking for a while and watching the prices of several pairs from Aldo, Steve Madden and Schutz. And today one of them dropped from $80 to $32, I couldn't believe it. And it's not the case when there is only one left in a huge size - still many sizes and 2 colors available. Also the quality is very decent - leather or suede upper and cork wedge. Please let me know if you have seen a better price for this type of shoes. I am collecting and documenting price record of various items, and this has to be the best in my collection yet. Even after shipping and tax it's under $35.</p> </p>
