I ended up sending them back. They fit OK but were a little non-cushioning, more like the comfort level of ballet flats not supportive sneakers. That might have been fine for me but I decided the blue snakeskin was just too out there for my style, and not that versatile. I suspect that one of the more neutral colors might have worked for me better. </p> <p>I do see that Zappos has them (for a higher price, of course!) in some color and size combinations. I am considering ordering the silver but am not sure. To me, snakeskin reads dressier so the combination with sneaker styling is a little odd to consider using in outfits. I was at the rack today and couldn't find this color but I tried these on in a different color. They were very comfy, a bit too flat on their own but my superfeet insert seemed to fix that. They run true to size or possibly slightly big. I usually wear between 7.5 and 8, and the 8 was way too big and I couldn't lace them tight enough to not walk out of them. The 7.5 fit well (including with the superfeet). Keep in mind I have low volume feet though. </p> <p>Anyway I think I'll probably end up ordering the blue snake. Although I did see the metallic goldish color at the rack (not in my size though) and I liked it a lot. Would be nude for me the same way my gold oxfords work. I like both the Eccos. I could see either of them in your wardrobe. I'm having so much trouble finding something comfortable myself between my knee and my bunion. I got these Clarks in the pewter metallic just the other day. They're very comfortable. They look oxford-y on and nicer than the picture. And in the metallic, they look "just funky enough" (how's that one?!) to pass muster. Last year in Paris and London we walked 10 miles one day and many miles on&nbsp;each of the other days and they never gave me a blister. I was totally impressed with them, and I have fussy feet. For me, the support is good (I cannot wear Converse either, not enough support there). Thank you for this tip, I have just ordered the blue snake print ones&nbsp;from Nordstrom - what a great deal. I sized up half a size and put in a slim arch support insert, which works well. But then I found a great deal on&nbsp;the Paul Green "Posh," on ebay&nbsp;and I have to admit I haven't worn the Borns since. I found that the stitching on the tongue, etc., on the Borns&nbsp;was still irritating to the top of my feet, in comparison to the buttery softness of the Paul Greens.
