That ended up being that he didn't like tops tucked into skirts at the waist ON ME because I am a little short waisted and it emphasized my IT shoulders which he found masculine looking (and it took a LOT of discussion to figure out that's what it was off of the initial comment "tucking your shirt looks masculine").</p> <p>Rae, it might be worth asking or working on figuring out what exactly it is he doesn't like about those boots so you don't end up getting another pair that he doesn't like. And sometimes he won't know until it's on your foot! Could be the color, could be the cut, could be a detail.
