Both of the jeans do have distressing... Are you going RATE? I’ll admit I don’t see that as you. That said, the Kut’s look better quality.

The wedge on the sandals have a slight cutout under the arch. It gives them a certain delicacy. They look like you to me too, like Angie said.

Get the white KUT Catherine’s.

The sandals have a casual rubber heel, but look Michelle-dressy on top. Try those too.

I have the old Kuts from what, 3 to 4 years ago? These are not the same. As others have said, distressing on the thigh.

Both of the jeans have raggedy tear type distressing on the thighs, the Torrids more than the Catherines.

The sandals are like a simplified, sleeker hurrache type, thin strips coming from the sides and converging in a open weave circular pattern on the top of the foot. I would describe them as daintier casual rather than truly dressed up. I'm not sure you would find all the strapping comfortable, they look like they might cut a little.

To me the sandals are somewhere in between, skewing smarter than casual, with the wedge part being tan/brownish and the strappy bits being elastic. The silver itself looks a bit muted so not super blingy. I think they look good! I'd call them, at the very least, versatile smart-casual and will let others chime in about business appropriate

Thank you guys. That's all helpful, particularly re. the jeans. I still have a question about the sandals. Do they look dressy, casual or somewhere in between? Attractive or not so much? Blingy or versatile?

I'm not 100% sure on the white Katherines but the photos kiiiiind of look like the front pockets are stitched so more like jeggings and I see some distressing on the right leg which I think the older version doesn't have.
Hopefully a few others can chime in on those.

The Torrid pair has distressing on both legs, two sections each; the distressed threads there look dense so not as much leg would show through but some still certainly would. I could see either perhaps being a fun trendy jean for you, definitely more polished looking than most distressed pairs between the white, thick threads, and straight classic cut.

I don't have the Kut Catherines, so I can't speak to what they were like before, but the ones on the page you linked to have some slight distressing. It's not obvious, but it is there.

The Torrid ones have more distressing than the Catherines. The distressed sections on the Torrid version have the outer, smooth part of the fabric removed to show the horizontal threads beneath. The distressed patches are larger on the Torrid version than on the Kuts.

From what I have seen of your style, I would consider the Torrid version more RATE than your usual style. I think that if you want to try wearing some jeans wtih distressing, the Catherines are more polished looking than the Torrid ones.

Liz did a great job describing the sandal. The heel is a wedge, but it is not flat to the floor the entire length of the shoe. It has a very slight curved section cut out from the bottom of the sandal under the arch of the foot. It looks like the height of the cut-out is maybe 1/4" at the maximum point--so it is very slight indeed. Hope this makes sense!

I'll take a crack at the sandals for you:

sole / heel looks like tan-colored rubberized material. That sounds unattractive, but it looks fine. It's probably that really squishy comfortable kind of flexible heel. Heel shape is a sturdy wedge, but not blocky.

The straps on top, and the covering of the sole, is a shiny silver, more dressy than the bottom portion. On each side of the ball of the foot, four skinny straps come up and then all eight of them meet in an interwoven pattern over the top of the foot, and then the four straps on each side continue on back to join with the strap that goes around the heel. When viewed from the top, a very strappy look. There is no buckle or other way to adjust the fit of the back strap. I guess they just slide onto the foot? Good looking shoe.

Hi ladies.
I'm wondering if I can call upon your descriptive powers for a couple of items.
First is a pair of jeans. I'm looking to duplicate the white Kut Catherines that so many of us have. I found this version on Amazon, but I want to make sure it's the same old style and that they haven't gone and added any weird distressing etc:
https://www.amazon.ca/KUT-Klot.....&qid=

There's also these. How do they look? Too RATE for my usual look?
https://www.torrid.com/product.....eans-white

Last is a pair of silver sandals. These could be great, hideous, or somewhere in between. I can't tell a thing based on the web description other than that they sound comfortable and the heel is a good height for me. But what does the silhouette actually look like? Is there any ornamentation? Is it a skinny, block or wedge heel?
https://www.naturalizer.ca/Sho.....pg=7007521

Thank you ladies!! I have some fun outfits in the offing as I prepare for a wedding weekend for one of my best friends. You're helping me put some finishing touches on, and then I'll share all.
