I returned them. I've tried on a few Sofft sandals and they seem much better. The ones I've tried on aren't super soft though, and they don't feel as comfy as some other comfort brands. Just an FYI!</p> <p>I can't wait to see the David Kahn jeans, finally! I ended up selling mine on eBay... I had them shortened and the inept tailor made them too short for even flats. They have one band across the toe, then they have a second strap on each side of the top of the foot that curves from the toe, up to form a t-strap down the top of the foot and then down to the instep. There is another strap that goes across the ankle and around the heel, but it is low and should not be problematic like a higher ankle strap might. These have a slight heel that looks like it is a solid piece of rubber. Could someone please tell me what the Fortini sandal looks like? Does it have an ankle strap? Is it a thong style? Is the heel a wedge or stacked? If there's any hardwear on it, what colour is it on the pewter pair? </p> <p>I'm tantalized by the idea of a versatile, metallic sandal that actually comes in a wide width. I've heard mixed reviews of Sofft's comfort from people on this forum, but the consensus is largely positive. The bottom line is I'm giving these serious thought, along with a tunic button-down Angie told me about. I tried on a few yesterday and they simply wouldn't work over my chest (buttons would gap even two sizes above what I normally wear), but I have faith in Angie's picks!</p> <p>Speaking of shopping, a big "keep or return" post is forthcoming. And Marianna, I'll finally include a pic of my David Kahn jeans in there! </p>
