Wow, great tips! I got deodorant stains all over my dress the other day, and it's currently sitting in the dry clean pile as a result. I will have to try the nylon trick and if that doesn't work the gal pal.

Otherwise, my only advice is: put your deodorant on right after your shower and before you blow dry your hair. By the time you get dressed, it should be dry enough it doesn't leave a mark. Don't apply after you have gotten dressed - especially if you are like me and have this habit of changing your mind last second about what you are wearing.

The Dress Sure deodorant streak shield works great for this. It keeps you from ever getting deodorant on your clothes to begin with. I use it when I want to be sure I don't trash my outfit with marks.

The answer to your problem is: A PLAIN OL' PAIR OF NYLONS!! I learned this when I was in a retail store, looking to buy a black dress. There were deodorant marks all over the dress, and so I asked for a discount on the dress because I assumed it would need to go to the cleaners to remove the deodorant. The retail clerk simply took a regular pair of nylons, and rubbed the deodorant marks right out of the dress - and lo and behold they came right out! I never did get my discount, but I did walk out with a great method to get deodorant out of dark clothing! Good luck!

Try to get into the habit of putting on your deoderant after you have your top on. Just reach up under your shirt to apply it. This avoids the marks you get from putting on a shirt. (to avoid deoderant marks that apear on tank tops, you just have to wear light colored tops).

Try Gal Pal, works great!!!
http://www.drugstore.com/produ.....38;trxp4=1
It' s a little pink sponge that can completely buff the marks off.
I've had exactly the same problems you have, have tried to find a really clear deodorant for ages with no luck. These sponges really saved me.

Ah! The bane of my existence!

Seriously, though, how to avoid? How to get rid of? I have tried numerous kinds of deodorants, and I have come to the conclusion that I will always have marks on my dark clothing. I have pretty sensitive skin, and have found that Dove (the kind that isn't supposed to leave marks) is the gentlest. But, alas, it leaves marks.

What to do? I need a real deodorant because I bike/walk commute and I sweat. But it must be gentle.
