Yes, you can wear tights with this, no problem. A cami, cardi, and boots would be nice.

Agree with the above observations 100%. This is a skirt made of denim not the "denim skirt" I was expecting to see when I read your query.

It will look good with tights and boots or booties. If you live in a hot climate, sandals or other shoes without tights would also be fine. A jacket would make it office-worthy, as Jj says.

I finally found one I liked enough and wore it this past Friday. I treat it like it's jeans, but did wear tights and boots. I always wear a blazer with my jeans on Friday to feel more office appropriate and this was no exception. You should wear it like you would any pencil skirt.

Hi everyone,

I read through some posts about using denim in smart casual outfits for the office. However most of the outfits show denim pants instead of skirts. I have this denim skirt but can't think of how to wear it to work, since tights might look funny with it? Do you have any advice - the skirt is more straight cut than a pencil skirt, about an inch above the knee. I'm also tall and plus-sized.

Thanks!
