I think between the denim skirt and the knit moto it does read a bit casual for an office, but this still falls firmly into Smart Casual (so if your office is OK with that then it should be just fine). Swapping to a stricter topper might make the outfit more work appropriate if denim is allowed in your office, too. I have mixed feelings about this. Mentally, I'm SO ready for fall clothes but our weather just isn't there yet! I liked that this was a way to wear my summer skirt with some fall items, but in the end I decided that the skirt was too casual for my office and changed before work. I would wear it for a weekend, though. </p>
