I'd listen to Angie over me any day, but I voted 2. 1 would be better to wear over a warm layer though.

I actually prefer the fit of #1. The sleeves of #2 look a little snug unless the denim is very stretchy.

#2 all the way for me. The fit seems more flattering overall, and the buttons make it special.

YAY both---because you are clever enuff to know how to style them differently!!!
I lean more to #2 for scrunchy sleeves and copper buttons--I loves me the copper!
(I have thought about starting a "button left or right does it matter to you?" thread myself.)

I like the buttons on #1 (because they do not stand out as much) and the shorter tighter fit of #2. I say #2 for the fit if you don't mind the buttons standing out.

@Heather, I didn't notice that the buttons were on different sides. Isn't one side for women and the other side for men? I forget which is supposed to be which.

Thanks for everyone's comments. I'm glad neither is getting the thumbs down. I'm leaning toward both. I have a feeling I would be reaching for the slim one in the summer with tank dresses and the boxier one in the fall with layers. I would have worn one today if it wasn't power meeting day at work.

I love the copper buttons on #2, but I'm captain of team rose gold. If you can swing both, I'd say keep both. Mind you this is coming from someone who has only jean jacket in her wardrobe.

If you really love both and can keep both, that sounds great to me since they are different. The two have different washes, yes? #1 looks lighter and #2 looks darker (just the way they should be for their vibes, imo!).

Aida, that's exactly why I am considering keeping both. One is more like MOTG and the other has a funky date night vibe.

I also really like both, but I do have a preference for #2; I like the copper and the tighter, more cropped fit (for the reasons Sveta listed). But #1's looser fit would work really well with a boxier style, for an even more casual denim jacket.

I like #2 better, buttons and all. I also prefer a tighter fit of the denim jacket. I wear mine mostly in summer so thin layer under it is fine - but it looks much better! It is also shorter - perfect to wear with dresses, skirts and wide leg pants.

I love voting. Mine is for #1 or both. I like my Jean jacket to go over anything, including a smaller Sweater, so the smaller sleeves would be a deal breaker for me. It looks nice though!

Which one? My closest fashion advisor friend at home says both since they are cute, budget friendly and actually fit me.

1/2) Ann Taylor Loft, looks closest to an iconic denim jacket. I like the 3/4 sleeves, that's how I'd wear it anyway (vanity size 0)

3/4) H+M, not sure about the copper buttons, kind of a hipper, tighter fit. Sleeves are very fitted, I could only wear short sleeves with it (tiny fit size 6)

YAY for the Ann Taylor

NAY for the H+M

Wildcard 1: keep both

Wildcard 2: return both
