(Even in different colors, it's still too low contrast for me with all of the same texture.) Summer is so hot where I live that I rarely need any kind of jacket, even at night, and in winter I just don't feel like wearing my light wash denim or my white denim jacket. </p> <p>But I DO have a dark wash denim jacket that I wore consistently all last winter, layered over dresses (and under a coat, obviously!) and even (gasp!!) with jeans!! In the south, it's definitely a mid-late fall til mid spring because we're so warm. Its all how you style the denim jacket. in the summer I wear them with a dress. In the winter I wear them with colored denim boots and long sleeve top and jean jacket.
