Caged sandals would work really well but a moderate heel height is really hard to find at the moment. There will probably be more available when spring gets closer. I have been looking for a sandal bootie, and your find 8 is exactly what I want! All the ones I've seen so far have been too high for me. A cage sandal would also be practical for our warm weather, as would slip on sneakers.</p> <p>Smittie, I agree that the belt is not quite right. I will see what else I can find to play around with. I'm supposedly an hourglass shape, though short waisted, so I don't always feel right with a belt. I'm really stumped with what to put on my feet.</p> <p>My shoe choices are flat, flat and flat!  There is a 5cm heel on the sandal, but to me they seem seasonally confused with the dress.  Apart from the photos, I have a pair of long black (flat!) boots, and I think they'll be ok with black tights and the dress.  Mind you, boots and tights are really only for our very coldest days, or travel south.<br /> I wonder if my legs look a bit bare with the short boots. </p> <p>The dress also has belt loops, but I think it might look better without it. Or does it need a different type of belt?</p> <p>Comments appreciated, and I won't be upset if you suggest I need to go shoe shopping!<br /> (photos to come in a minute ) </p>
