				<description>&#060;p&#062;I also treat my denim as a neutral but I have a range of denim shades in my closet and try to match the intensity of the blue with the intensity of the top. So if the top is bright I will pick a brighter blue and if it is soft I will pick a softer blue. I am low to medium contrast.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Hi, Yes I discovered last year that I have muted warm colouring but on the neutral &#038;amp; light side (my hair is grey). I treat my mid-blue denim as a neutral &#038;amp; love it with all my other neutrals. I only run into problems if the denim is bright rather than soft.&#038;nbsp;As you say though you have to please yourself so it may not work for you  <span aria-hidden="true" class="emoticon emoticon-smile icon-emoticon-smile "></span>  :)&#060;/p&#062;

				<description>&#060;p&#062;I have soft, muted, low to medium  contrast warm coloring, and prefer neutral bottoms in warm tones with the current exception of denim blue, as it is so easy to find when shopping, as opposed to finding various shades of brown jeans.  When I wear blue jeans on the bottom, a lighter blue textured or patterned top, and a deeper blue cardigan, I am unhappy with the result, and feel the need to introduce a warm color as an ivory top instead of the blue and perhaps a red necklace.  Am I just fighting my own coloring by choosing denim blue in my color selection ?  If I wear all warm colors, my eye calls out for relief with an introduction of a cool color.  Looking at my choices of cool colors within my warm spectrum of colors, I find aqua, teal, greenish turquoise, cadet blue, and&#060;br /&#062;
periwinkle blue. Perhaps I should wear the warm neutral color bottoms and use the cooler colors within my Autumn colors as accent tops and/or toppers ? I really don't want to start purchasing bottoms in those cool colors because of limited mix and match possibilities, as well as just plain finding them to buy as well as insuring that they are exact color matches. The idea then is to wean out my dependence on denim blue as one of my core neutral colors. Does any other person on this forum with muted warm personal coloring face this same dilemma, or am I being too fussy ? Still ----I know that in the end it is only myself that I need to please, so obviously I'm not pleased, because the very fact that I'm writing this post tells me that I am struggling with the color denim blue.
