I don’t find bootcut or flares really look good on me. I know bootcut is also supposed to be a classic; I’ve just never felt it truly worked on me. Even my brother, who possesses a sharp eye for style, told me bootcut jeans make me look even wider. (Flares are even worse.) Actually, I typically don’t like nor look good in flare done anywhere—except for a peplum. Flared cuffs and flared pants just don’t do nice things for me. The line needs to narrow around my wrist, ankle, or waist. </p> <p>My best is harem pants and soft joggers, slim legs that taper to the ankle, skinnies, boyfriends, and a slim but straight leg . (Jeggings actually aren’t my best though I wear them currently for ease.). </p> <p>I still want to experiment some more with wide leg styles in case I’ve had a poison eye and missed a good style for me. I can't wear a wrap dress (or top) or really any surplice style because I don't fill it out.&nbsp;</p> <p>For jeans, the style that does not work well on me is a medium straight leg. (Yeah, the classic style that supposedly works on everyone. Nope!) What works best on me is a slim straight (not quite a skinny), a tapered jean (like a BF or a balloon style), or a wide leg but the wide leg has to be extra wide, like an A-line. Why? I have no idea! Must be proportions. I can wear a full length flare or boot cut but not a cropped version of same.&nbsp;</p> <p><b>Angie,</b> thank you! And yes, this jacket is so fab! Next, the indoor version.&nbsp;</p> <p>One thing it might interest you to know about this outfit: it includes pieces from this season, all the way back to some of my earliest items at YLF. The cashmere tee has been an incredible purchase. Those older J.
