Nicole, I love everything! The black skirt is great, the green oufit perfect. I think that the pants are very flattering ( that's actually my preffered rise length) and I like the blue shiny top as well. I would keep them all!

Hallelujah! Maya and San see the light. Thanks for the validation. I’ve just relooked at you in those caramel pants Nicole and they are fabulous. SOOOOOO flattering.

I think you're just not used to wearing a higher rise Nicole. I mean the pants obviously don't come up to your ribcage, unless you have a lot of extra ribs. If you have been wearing your pants lower for a long period of time, it will feel funny. But these hold you in really well and make you look more balanced.

Hmmm....I am shocked that everyone liked that blue top. Even though it's from AT, I thought it looked like it came from a cheap discount store. I will reconsider it now that everyone has said they like it so much. As for the tan pants, I will iron them, pin them, and then take another photo and decide. I'll try them with a black shirt, maybe that'll help me. I remember feeling like the waistband was on my ribcage though.

I'm thrilled you all liked the white and green outfit. That was the skirt that I tried on in the store and decided to think about it before I bought it. I'll have to look closer at the skirt detail to see what other color is there--I think it's just green and black though. One weird thing is that green cardi smells like petrol. And of course everything is so wrinkled because it was shipped in a box.

About the green and white outfit...do you think I could wear that to my nephews wedding--which is outdoor and casual.

I actually think Angie might be right about those pants now that I give them a second look. I think the rumpled lines threw me off, and I'm still not a fan of the color. But in another color I think they would look good. I really do prefer this rise to the one you had on those CK jeans, and I like the buttons.

I LOVE the black skirt on you.
And, I love the white skirt/green cardi outfit. I love the grass green color, and I think this outfit is so fresh. And by the way, I think you look great in skirts.
The pants are okay, in my opinion. Not as bad as you made them out to be, but I'm definitely not a fan of high rise pants, for some reason. I think it's just a personal preference, so I don't really know how to assess them without that bias. I don't think they are unflattering, though. From what I have seen, you are getting really good at picking clothes for your body.
I agree with Maya and Angie on the blue top. I usually don't like that cheap shiny fabric look, but this top looks great on you. If you don't keep it, try and find a similar top with the same color and neckline. It suits you well.

Thank you for posting Nicole. Here we go:

1.	The black skirt looks wonderful and you can wear skirts a little shorter. You have great knees. Nice for a hot Summers day.
2.	This outfit is fantastic! I love it just the way it is. The length of the green cardi is very flattering. I really like it with the white. Nice for Autumn with brown. What’s the other colour in the embroidery of the skirt?
3.	Interestingly, I disagree with everyone. The baggy high-waisted pants are extremely flattering. Nicole is an inverted triangle and this straight, wide-cut with crease lines balances out her silhouette perfectly. The high waist REALLY works. They just need to be hemmed. Thumbs up!! I don’t even mind the colour. It’s more of a caramel as opposed to beige. I’d have loved to see them in cream or white, because that’s a more contemporary look and my personal preference, but this colour will work with black and white tops.( Sorry Antje, I believe that I am not in disagreement with you :-)).
4.	I love the light blue shiny top! Also my favourite and you look fabulous in light blue.

Well my dear Nicole, you have decisions to make. There is little consensus in this thread. Penny for your thoughts?

Nicole, I like the length of the white skirt, and what a great skirt for summer! I do think the black one might be a bit above your ideal knee length, but it doesn't look bad. Suggestions for colors under the green cardi: How about a warm purple or a fuschia? I actually didn't think rise of the pants looked bad (with the right height heel), but I agree that stiff fabric probably won't be what you want. I do think the shiny fabric of the blue top won't be ideal on you since you are an inverted triangle, but it really didn't look bad on you.

I like the first two (plain skirt, green cardi and print skirt). I agree the pants have to go back, but it has more to do with the color and material than the rise. I think the rise looks good actually. It locks and loads you so you're not spilling out of the waistband, and makes your legs look longer. It sounds like it's just something you need to get used to. The material seems stiff and the color is drab though, so they're not a keeper.

I have to say I'm very disappointed that you don't like that blue top. It was my favorite piece out of the lot and really made me go "wow!" The neckline, color, and fit look really nice on you. I would reconsider that one. And don't close yourself off completely to anything. You're only hurting yourself when you do the whole "I don't like xyz so I will never wear it" thing. I can tell it's shiny from the picture, but it's not shiny in a cheap or gaudy way but in a dressy way.

I wouldn't wear the mint green tee shirt with the dark skirt. I was just trying to find the right length shirt. That skirt is actually not denim, it's black. It is a bit higher than I like to wear my skirts, and I'm always trying to tone down my vavoomness. But if it's not too sexy, then I'll keep it.

Nicole, the first skirt looks great on you and the length is just right, you should definitely keep it. I'd switch the top with a wrap style to accentuate the waist.

For the second outfit, I like the color combinations. However the skirt seems a tad too big to me, it might just needs to be ironed.

I agree that the AT pants look baggy on you, again it could be the fabric. I found that a soft, drapey one would make you look long and lean.

For the last shirt, I really like the color on you, the neckline looks beautiful on you too. However it would be better if it's in a wrap style, but that just could be my personal preference.

Nicole,
I think the first skirt is fine, it's only slightly above where the white one hits you. I agree that a different top might make it look a little different.

You look great in that shade of green on the second picture! I like the clean effect of the white and the green. I think a black cami might be too harsh. What about a light yellow? I'd just have to lay things out and see how they looked (not feeling very creative tonight...sorry).

Overall, good purchases. I think you could wear that green cardi with the denim skirt and look really sharp too.

I'm not sure what the perfect length skirt is for you, Nicole. I would wear that first skirt exactly where it hits on you, but I'm short as well. How tall are you again? I like it on you though. If you don't have a dark denim skirt and this one ends up not working out, definitely keep an eye out for one.

The second outfit is my favorite! That skirt with the cardigan is really cute! Hmm...not sure what colors to wear underneath, I think the white looks fine.

The third pants are just okay (could be my dislike of khaki though), I think you're right in sending those back.

I think the blue shirt looks fine on you, the shininess isn't that bad, but if you don't love it, definitely send it back because you'll probably never wear it (that's been my experience anyway). The pants look good, with hemming they should be great.

Hey Nicole, I like the length of that first skirt (the black one). The t-shirt you're wearing with it is a bit boxy; a more tailored top would look better and make the skirt shine :-)
I actually like the higher waisted pants and don't find them boxy - I think they're supposed to be wider (they just need to be hemmed.) I think it's a cute style. But you have to feel comfortable, of course, so they might not be a keeper...

I received my AT delivery today: I'm not sure about a few of the things, I really like a few of the things, and I'm definately not liking one thing.

The first photo is a black skirt that has white stitching around the waist and down the center. Is it too short?

The next photo is the white skirt with the green embroidery along the bottom and the green SS cardi. I just threw on a white sleeveless top to have something on underneath. What color camis would look great under the cardi?

The third photo are a pair of AT pants that I don't think I'm going to keep. They are really high waisted--I feel like they are under my armpits. Also they are size 8, but feel very baggy.

The next one is an AT shirt that I really don't like and will definately be returning. You can't tell in the photo, but it's shiny--and I don't care for shiny fabric. And the pants are ATL, need to be hememd. They also have white stitching around the waist and pockets. I like these pants.

Please don't mind that I'm barefoot in each photo. I took them tonight and I've been up since 530 am. I had to keep running upstairs to change and then back downstairs to take the photo.
