Certain concepts and recurring themes become perfectly obvious when you collect images in this way, in a way that they don't when you just do it 'by words'. I always thought I had style schizophrenia until I started collecting images for my Pinterest boards.</p> <p>My Pinterest boards are divided by season and year (ie. Spring 2012) and are usually images pulled from Style.com and various retailers I like (such as Anthropologie). After having pinned about 20+ images for Spring 2012, I started seeing a pattern as to what types of prints (yes I LOVE prints!), styles and textures I prefer.
