You've got great legs! I agree that the boots don't look dated, and I think you could wear them over skinnies or under a midi skirt length if you wanted to try some other silhouettes. I think that short boots with this outfit might not be the best proportions - it'd leave a lot of tights exposed since the skirt is a mini.
