Style Fan, Smittie and Suz, you're welcome! I have one more item coming from Vancouver.

I think I'll contact the SA and see if they even have the Burberry left. I know he told me they only got a couple in for the sale.

Traci, thanks for the tip on folding under. I did that just to see if it fit nicely and seemed to stay flat and was comfortable.

Thanks for the tips, carter. Bra shopping is the bain of my existence. I will NOT settle (oh how I despise an uncomfortable bra) but the cost is atrocious! I'm always looking for a way to get a deal (seems not many). I've even shopped on eBay for my favourite. I'll check these out.

Suz, l love leggings. I prefer heftier ones that feel more like pants than tights. I don't wear them as pants (always 'cover'). My favourites are Lysee. I think I missed out on a style from a couple of years ago that were faux leather on the front and ponte on the back. I have a pair with small inserts but they're just about done. I only ever wear with mid calf or knee high boots and only black.

I like the kut jacket and the halogen sweater best.
Too bad about the leggings and bra!
Thank you for the prices!

Thanks for the reviews. Sounds like the KUT jacket is a definite keep.

These are the bras I'm really liking at the moment. Have you tried them/do they have them in Canada? They all come in a wide range of extended sizes.

On thin leather jackets like the KUT, I've had really good luck with simply turning the sleeves under and they stay put. I have two jackets I've done this way and the sleeves have stayed in place for a couple of years.

Kerry, so great for you to provide us with prices. That's really helpful.

Based on what you are saying, I think you should keep the Kut jacket for sure. It's easy to shorten sleeves.

I sympathize about the leggings. Every year at this time I try a pair. Last year I got a pair that were leather look on the sides only and regular leggings elsewhere...they are the best leggings I've ever had and I still don't like them on me. I get the sausage casing look.

Re the sweaters...sad to say, no knits hold up to a lot of wear...or at least not anymore, in my experience. However, some are obviously better than others. I can't predict whether the Burberry sweater would last longer but if the fit is not good, hold out for one that fits as you'd like. Meanwhile, the Halogen one is quite interesting and unique with the stripe and could be useful, too, it seems to me.

Nice reviews -- thank you!

Category #1 (finds 1 and 2) Which one?
The Kut jacket is obviously a winner and a top pick last year. I like it. It fits nicely (arms are too long but that's me not the jacket). I'm pretty sure they could easily shortened. It's the comfort of a cardigan with a bit of edge. The BlankNYC is more flattering, I think, but a more difficult sleeve to shorten with the ribbed knit. It's also heavier so maybe more jacket-like than sweater-like. I would need this for indoor wear.

Category #2 (finds 3 and 4) Is it worth it?
LOVE the Burberry sweater but fear it's too big. The v-neck is not too low (a frequent problem for me - large size but short and ample busted). The cashmere felt so soothing on my amoxicillan-ravaged skin. Also loved the Halogen cardigan but will it stand up to wear?

Category #3 (find 5 and 6) uh, no.
I was hoping for leather-look leggings (was hoping to get the Lysee ones but they didn't have them in Canada). This was a big no. Not flattering. Maybe it's the look not the leggings I should steer clear of.
The bra fit but the underwire came up too high under my arm. So sad as I'd have loved to find a well-fitting bra that didn't cost almost $200.

If anyone is interested in Canadian pricing ... (before tax - I'm in Ontario)
Find 1 - $78.90
Find 2 - $84.90
Find 3 - $325.90
Find 4 - $178.90
Find 5 - $72.90
Find 6 - $74.90
