It felt wonderful to embrace looser, more camouflaging cuts at a time when my weight has reached an all-time high and struck up an inverse relationship with my confidence level. </p> <p>I'll be rolling out my new purchases over the next few days, but the pics below reveal a few:<br />Pics 1 and 2 show: <br />black cigarette pants that can be rolled due to their excess length (a genuine novelty for tall girls)!<br />A red high-low blouse whose features I have a hard time describing<br />My Mayle Club Monaco black and gold clutch<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; <br />My Munro Robyn booties. I bought the black versions last year and loved them so much that I ordered the Cranberry suede incarnation, which will hopefully arrive today. :)</p> <p>And finally, in pics 3 and 4, I show my William Rast faux leather jacket, both open and closed. </p> <p>Please weigh in on all these pieces. </p> <p>Bonus look: for those who didn't see the rather buried picture of my new silky track pants, they're in pic number 5. I styled them with a new Foxcroft buttondown that gapes too much and needs to be covered to be presentable. The perfect excuse to break out a sequined tank I bought a couple of years ago and test-drive Angie's shell-over-shirt look.
