I have two teenage girls on this trip who have to get ready before we can get out the door in the morning, so I'm finding myself with a little extra time for Ylf.</p> <p>The shoes are Minnetonka gladiator sandals. I inherited my mom's hot feet. If my feet get overheated the rest of me is a furnace. I guess it's like the opposite idea of wearing a hat to keep the warmth in. I need sandals to let the heat out. Worn for exploring the smithsonian. I had a blue cardigan layered under the leather jacket, but wore the jacket almost all day.</p> <p>2-3. Warmer day today so I layered my lightest jacket with a t. I was comfortable all day and the jacket was light when I needed to carry it.</p> <p>Two days in the same shoes is my max. I'll have to build tomorrow's outfit around a new pair of shoes. Maybe back to the boots and a skirt or dress? I picked up a sweet new purse and fun earrings at a flea market, so I'll be building tomorrow's outfit around those pieces as well. </p>
