They are not skin-tight, but they are sleek and streamlined, and the narrow ankles mean they can be tucked into boots nicely. Relaxed skinny is where it’s at for me these days. This pair (purchased secondhand) is showing wear, so I’m on the lookout for another.</p> <p><u>gray oversized cowl tunic:</u> you know I had been thinking this piece was <i>too</i> oversized but once I put it on I realized I actually <i>really</i> like it. (Maybe I shrunk it slightly??) The arms are the right length (rare for shorty me), the shoulder/chest area fits well, and the hi-lo hem covers the bum without the piece as a whole being overwhelming.</p> <p><b></b></p> <b></p> <p>Is the outfit elevated/cohesive/refined?<i>&nbsp;</i>I think the dramatic silhouette of the sweater with the wide hi-lo hem and the large, structured cowl collar elevate the look. (If I go dark I seem to want to go ALL dark with a little bit of high-contrast white. So that the black almost becomes a bright. I don’t really like black-and-shades-of-gray outfits.)
