It is indeed snow proof once you spray with protective spray. A coat like this is a run around do errands, have adventures coat - which means it comes on and off and you end up carrying it indoors. That being said if you find one like this - style and colour wise - you would not be wrong to get it. A Wpg gal needs plenty of coats to get thru the winter xoxoxoxo.
