I had a set of ageing pajamas, and a jar full of hibiscus for an old project. Varying directions online, and most with a mordant, yes. I decided to do it anyway without a mordant. I will hand-wash them, and if the dye comes out, I can redye it. I rarely get to participate in the outfit formula posts, so here it is.</p> <p>The skirt is crushed satin. I bought it in London (&amp; Other Stories).</p> <p>The boots and bag were also purchased in London (Anthropologie).</p> <p>Although it’s not obvious in the photos, the bag leans more purple and the skirt and top lean more wine (red).</p> <p>The top is a cotton knit (old Zara) that I dyed deep wine. It is cropped and boxy, with a bit of a Bohemian vibe.</p> <p>It was too warm for a jacket.</p> <p>Monochromatic (no black) but loads of texture, which is a combination that I enjoy. </p>
