I own two Danier jackets. As Sveta says, the quality is good for the price and the sizing is generous. I wear a 0 or 2 in most US sizes in jackets (depending on the maker and the fit I am after), a S at Zara. My Danier jackets are XXS.&nbsp;</p> <p>The leather at Danier does vary, with some jackets being much nicer quality than others. The one you linked to looks good -- however, it would be a much heavier weight coat than the Vince. It looks like one of the autumn styles designed to be worn primarily as outerwear. Which in our climate means it has to have some heft.&nbsp;</p> <p>The lightest weight leather jackets at Danier tend to come out in the spring/ summer season (although not all those will be lightweight, and none that I have seen are as lightweight as the Vince).&nbsp;</p> <p>The Blink collection tends to be made from thinner, more pliable leather. Mona, Sveta, Transcona Shannon and I all own a Blink jacket. Mine and Shannon's (we have the same style in a different colour) feel more substantial and heavy than Mona's and Sveta's because in ours, the overlapping panels of leather make for a thicker construction.&nbsp;</p> <p>I love my Danier jackets but am still on the hunt for a thinner jacket that feels more "indoor" wearable. The taupe blazer pictured is pretty good (the knit panels on the sleeves help make it very comfortable for indoor wear). But it's still quite substantial.&nbsp;</p> <p>My white jacket, while I can and do wear it indoors in the spring and fall, is primarily outerwear for me. It just feels a bit too heavy inside with central heating. It's not the heat of it (it breathes well.) It is just the "feel" of it -- it doesn't have a lot of drape.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>And both of these are relatively lighter weight jackets for Danier. Don't forget they are made in Quebec. Such lightweight leather! I have never seen such leather at Danier so if you are after a paper weight Danier may not work.<br />However Danier quality is still very good, especially for the price (I have 4 jackets and one trench so I am dfinitely biased). They are not all created equal though so it may be hard to jugge from online pictures.<br />As for the sizing it runs big: you would need to size down at least one size from your regular. You can look at their size chart and it is pretty accurate. If you wear S usually I would try XS and XXS in Danier. What is your numeric size - 0?2?4? Their chart says S = 8-10, M = 12-14. They can get you actual measurements of the jacket you want, too.&nbsp;</p> <p>To compare the jackets, I should say that Vince paper leather is much, much lighter weight than what I've seen from Danier.
