A neighbor a couple of doors down the street had a big old chestnut tree. When the chestnuts were ripe we'd go and pick up her chestnuts when she wasn't around. For some reason I was terrified of her--we called her place The Old Maid's house. I'd drill holes with my Dad's tools--not sure what--and then string them on an old shoelace. It's hard to see all the colors in a photo.</p> <p>I was going to wear a DY ring that I bought to wear when I travel out of the US, and remembered I &nbsp;have a similar one bought a long time ago. I've worn it a lot on the right hand but today my knuckles are a bit swollen. I ended up with the black coral ring I bought in Hawaii and that matches the earrings already shown a week ago.&nbsp;</p> <p>And I end up with a long necklace from some time ago worn layered with others. I believe I made it myself. I've been collecting jewelry for a long time.&nbsp;</p> <p>So what do you do with long dangly earrings when you hair gets longer in lockdown? DH hates my hair behind my ears. I haven't tried an updo for years and would need help. Just let the earrings sparkle among locks of hair? I have other earrings that do show up because they are much lighter in color.&nbsp; </p>
