I had to buy a completely new wardrobe for sping/summer (due to weight loss) and I went above and beyond the bare minimum that I intended. Now, looking at the same prospect for fall/winter (whole new wardrobe almost from scratch again), I am putting the reigns on myself. I've decided to do a month long shopping ban starting tomorrow, with an allowance for an "necessary" items- undergarments, special occasion wear ie swim suit, etc.<br /> We'll support each other, Anne! After my recent post on clothing spending I added up how much I have ACTUALLLY spent. Bear in mind I thought I was frugal and didn’t like shopping!</p> <p>Last year about $930!! I have been deluding myself</p> <p>This year so far $330. If I had the boots I plan to get that puts it at $530. I have decided that $700 for the year is quite, quite enough. The remaining 170 will need to cover sandals and shorts for summer and a top and sweater for winter. So I think the sweaterdress, vest, hush puppies and anything else is out, unless I get some vouchers. This will be my shopping “diet” </p>
