It really does work . There is a day or two where you have the dark pigmentation flaking off afterward, but nothing serious. I have a ton of sun damage, tons of natural pigmentation /freckles and other assorted age-related stuff going on. It's a miracle in a wand

Thanks Lisa - good advice.

Yes I was recommended four treatments to start with then two a year.

I am at the age when my sun damage is starting to come through and the sun here is very harsh.... and to have rejuvenated skin is very appealing.

I have had laser treatments on my face and chest several times - all with very positive results . Prices very quite dramatically - dermatologists charge an absolutely fortune. I had it done in a salon with a qualified person doing it - for a whole lot less $ than the derm was quoting. It is not a one-time thing though . Once you start doing it and see results, it's necessary to keep it up on a quarterly or twice-yearly schedule.

Hi all,

I recently had a dermatologist check up regarding a mark on my nose. The GP suspected early stage skin cancer or rosacea but it is neither, so I am lucky.

It is a type of surface vein, of which I have a few, as well as brown marks from sun damage, and those marks on the side of the neck (caused maybe from perfume or sun in the car).

I was referred in-house to a laser technician who gave me a quote for the treatment. She believes I would see reduction in red capillaries and brown marks as well as improvement in skin tone and condition.

I have not had laser treatment before, and I am not sure if I will proceed or not given the cost. If I do, it will be 5 months away as it is better to treat after mid-summer.

Has anyone had this particular treatment and if so, have you been happy with the results?

Thanks in advance
Sally
