They do not fit the way regular Cons fit (which is the whole reason I can wear them; I can't wear regular Cons at all -- too flat, too wide, etc.)  These are narrower and a bit shorter. I usually wear a 6.5 in North American sizes or a 37 EU size. In these, I wore a 7 and needed it.  I find them INCREDIBLY comfy. I sort of bounce around in them like Tigger, actually. They are too hot for the hottest days, but they're fabulous in the late spring/ early fall weather and on cooler summer days or evenings here. Deb, I found the Hi-Ness version didn't fit the same as regular cons.  They are smaller all over... narrower and shorter.  I had to size up.  If you have wide feet they are probably not for you, but should be fine if you are "regular". I just threw them in the washer in a bag, with the laces out (but also in the bag). I left them in the sun to dry. They were fine. I also "spot cleaned" them a couple of times with some stuff I had in the laundry room and also with one of those Tide Sticks (on the run) and it worked surprisingly well.
