I've always been very curious about this. It sounds like there are mixed reviews.

I ordered a few pairs from them several years ago, and was disappointed by the final product. I had sent them foot measurements and outlines, and while the shoes accommodated the width in the upper, the soles remained quite narrow. This would have resulted in the upper material wearing down very quickly. Disappointed, I waited a couple of years to try again. When my second pair of shoes finally did arrive, I was aghast by how ugly they were. The moral of the story: don’t order bespoke unless you have an idea of how it will look on YOUR foot, with your shape or size. The designs on larger feet are not proportional, which can drastically alter the look.

I have a pair that I had custom made about 6 years ago from them. Possibly the most lovely pair of shoes I have ever owned! I don’t wear them often, I went very classic, so they tend to come out for weddings:). They are still in excellent condition and I’m really glad I have them

I have heard of them and window shop at their online store....but have yet to order a pair. I am uncertain how comfortable they are and my feet are getting more and more finicky as I age. But they have beautiful looking shoes.

Hi Kari I've definitely heard of them. Think they're Australian? My Canadian sister-in-law has extra wide feet and possibly one bigger than the other. She has used them and been very happy. Downside for me about her feet is that when she visits NZ we can't go shoe shopping together which would be a good girly bonding activity!

Have any of you ever used the “customize” option on Shoes of Prey? (Perhaps I’ve had my head in the sand.)

I bought these 2” pumps at Nordstrom in green and grey suede, and found them surprisingly comfortable, supple leather, not too tight in the toe box.

Then I learned that you can customize the design directly from Shoes of Prey. The heel height and style, the toe shape, the material and colors.

Here are a couple two-toned designs I’m playing with.
