I'm not good with upkeep since I tend to go 2-3 months between hair appointments.</p> <p>I've had a short pixie variation with long curly top (#1) and undercut sides and back most of 2016 but have grown it into what my stylist calls a French Bob (#2-3) I plan to end up with a Flapper Bob (#4) It is a fall back hairstyle that seems to work with my hair type. It might trend - if fashion follows and the movie 'Fantatic Beasts and Where to Find Them' inspires fashion.</p> <p>According to one trend report (Pinterest) short hair is trending. I've also seen an article that suggest mid length hair (with or without bangs) with little product and natural texture is going strong (2016 and forward).
