The culottes or whatever you want to call them look fantastic on you -- great fit! And isn't it great when Old Navy comes through with a version of something that actually works at a price a person can afford? This is the way I like my jorts/ denim culottes to fit as well -- a little slouch, A line, and below the knee. I think it works here with the sandal and I also love the BR top. You are right that their regular prices are through the roof but on sale not so bad considering the style quotient of their recent offerings. I've spent the past few years trying different lengths and materials for shorts (bermuda, cotton, linen, chino, denim, cuffed, no cuff, etc) and pants (linen, wide leg, straight leg, chino, etc) and finally landed on chino material and a straight non cuffed style for both pants and shorts this season. They were Old Navy - cheap and that made me quite happy as who knows how long this look will stick.  I've had them for a couple of months now and finally wore them today for the first time with a BR cotton poplin-ish zip front top.  I love BR for their off-beat tops but the pricing on some of this stuff kills me. Very flowy and fun - wore them to work with a linen architectural -ish cut top and loved the outfit.</p> <p>fisherman sandals - Quince<br /> earrings - DConstruct<br /> bag - old Prada I couldn't give away - hahaha</p> <p>Comments welcome! </p>
