Someone once called her a "stretch beagle" because she's soooo long and floppy. She knows she's cute and tries to get away with things because of it, but Lucy has worked SO hard since we adopted her a year and a half ago. She's a smart girl. </p> <p>Lyn67, I almost ALWAYS go for different textures too. In this case, I could have used a knit black boyfriend blazer which has a black and white striped lining that I almost grabbed, but it was being laundered. Yesterday I was just bumming around home; today I had a lunch meetup from another forum and decided to give them a whirl again. </p> <p>I did something very rare and decided to go for all black clothing, and let the accessories do the talking: emerald specs, the new forest green bag, and the last of the new-to-me vintage scarves with leopard print pumps. The shoes are just like the ones I wore yesterday but are in far better shape, and hopefully will to last the year. But I probably need to add a pair of low animal print pumps to my list of items to replace. </p> <p>I wore the culottes with a black blouse that's just like the polka dot one I wore the other day, and my drapey black pleather and fabric jacket. You can probably see here which pics were taken before I left and after-I didn't have to walk in the rain for more than 30 feet with an umbrella, but that was enough to make the hair go all wonky. </p> <p>Lucy posed with my shoes.
