Not always and not in general -- I think for me it is all the black (and I admit a slight poison eye for too much black in summer). I do think I would like this vest with the culottes and a different top, though I'm not sure what to suggest. My personal favorites are 3, 4 and 5. I guess I'm kind of liking the black and white, and I like both the heeled open toe booties and the slip-on sneakers with them. I'm NOT wearing high boots ANY MORE.&nbsp; Despite the single digit temps :).&nbsp; And it's not yet warm enough for booties or shoes with bare legs, so they have been ignored for a couple of months.&nbsp; But it will be, and I'd like to wear these more while they are still in style.&nbsp; </p> <p>I was inspired by Angie's post, Culottes and a moto vest.&nbsp; And the temps are&nbsp; heading into bare legs territory, so I decided to give the idea a try.&nbsp; I don't have a moto vest, but given the pleather material, I think something else might be better anyway.</p> <p>So, question #1:&nbsp; Are pleather culottes too wintery for spring?</p> <p>And if no... then what do you think of these styling ideas?&nbsp; As an IT I do better with slim bottoms, and I think the vest helps reign in some of the volume in the culottes.&nbsp; </p> <p>I also tried some more springy styling w/o the vest.</p> <p>Would love your thoughts on these, and if the answer is to just put them away until fall, that's okay too.</p> <p></p> <p>PS.&nbsp; Excuse the lack of make up :).&nbsp; Grabbing a few minutes while home with a sick DD.</p>
