I can't wait. I think they are the PERFECT item to refresh your work AND your casual style. They will work so well in your climate. They are cooler than full length pants yet modest and practical. They can be feminine or more masculine depending on the cut and what you pair them with. They work with a number of different types of footwear. They do require some styling tricks but once you figure those out, you will find them cooler than pants, warmer and more modest than shorts, and either dressy or casual, as you need. I am wearing my CdG culottes today. For a budget option, may I suggest Uniqlo? They do this style very well, their prices are reasonable and they pay attention to quality and detail. Like RobinF, I've been thinking of having some wide pants cut off. But, if wider pants are coming back, I should just go but some culottes to try. I also have some from Express, including the sailor jeans Tanya mentioned -- which are fabulous. American Eagle also has culottes/wide-leg jeans at a reasonable price. I recently bought a pair from Kohl's, as an inexpensive way to try the culotte trend. They're Elle brand. Sorry I can't post a link with my Nook. I love them and have received compliments on them. I've found that even when I pair some older pieces of my wardrobe with them, I suddenly have a very on-trend outfit. But after having viewed so many WIWs from Forum Members, my eye has adjusted and I have come to absolutely LOVE them.   I must have a pair.  I am starting my search this weekend.  Since this is my first experimental pair, I thought I would start with places like Old Navy and Gap.  Does that make sense?
