I held on to them until this morning because I felt guilty letting them go. They are oversized now that I am 15 pounds lighter and they never went to the tailor for alteration. You and I were kindred spirits yesterday. </p> <p>Oh skirts. I counted, I now have 18 skirts. 8 summer; 10 fall/winter. Interesting because I wear skirts much more in the summer than in winter. I think I maybe reached for a skirt three times all last winter. </p> <p>But that count includes three old skirts that I'm glad I've kept because they're flared midis and may get a fresh outing this year. Although one is now a little pinchy in the waist because I had it altered when I was my smallest. It's a sentimental piece that my mom bought me, so I'm hanging on to it, and I might take it back to the tailor to see if she can let the waist back out just a smidge -- I think the extra seam is still under the lining. It also includes two of the Halogen seamed pencil skirts, which I keep because they're classic, but I almost never wear them. And it doesn't help that they're ever so slightly snug at the moment. Again with the keeping "classic" things!
