@Aurore thanks, I'm actually about to post a WIW with close ups of those items, lol!

Alright, I think it's difficult for me to judge because of course, when I look at my own legs, I see them from above. So maybe that makes them look different to me than they do to others, lol?

Zaeobi, when looking at the two new looks, the first things that catch my eye are not the trousers, but that gorgeous scarf (pashmina?) and blouse! ;)
I think neither the rolled hem nor the full-length look "stumpifying". IMO the first one look more casual and the second more elegant.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I'm not sure but I actually feel like a dark underside makes rolled jeans look a little strange, if that makes sense? I guess a lighter underside looks intentional, but mine are black underneath so it looks a little weird with the blue outerside? I'll try it & report back, but I only have the one pair of real jeans - so I think if I crop them now, it might make them less versatile. It's not usually cold enough here to warrant buying lots of jeans (I don't have a very casual style, & I find the stiff denim/ pockets/ buttons/ zips on jeans to be uncomfortable in warmer weather), but it's something to keep in mind.

Anyway, I'm glad to hear that the rolled hem doesn't look too stumpifying. I tried the jeans again at full length, & I wonder if the way it bunches at the ankles actually looks more stumpifying than the rolled hem? I think it might look better with low vamped shoes (so you can see the tops of my feet), but then wouldn't that increase the contrast & therefore look less leg elongating? Arghhh so many factors to consider, lol!

Zaeobi, by the time fashion rolls back to longer lengths, you'll want a new, updated pair. Enjoy the one you have now at the length that suits your present life. If you have been rolling them it's a sign you will wear them a lot once cropped. A little bit of ankle showing is very flattering with ballets or tennis, and also with a little heel.

I'm with Viva , above. Always cuffing, not rolling, but cuffing. But then again, I like cropped jeans and don't get along with full-length ones

I'm a big cuffer (Diana's idea). I like the versatility, but I also just love how a big cuff looks. I think it would be great here.

Cuffed looks great. I like Diana’s idea too. I would not hem them because I like having the option of wearing them full length too.

I think this length (and the cuff) looks good!

Another thing you could try which I quite like is doing one big cuff (just turn the hem up once). It's obviously more dramatic but I like that it is flatter. I actually do this with jeans that have a light underside but since yours look to be dark on the reverse side as well I don't think it will be quite as dramatic or color-blocked.

I almost always roll my jeans when I wear them with flats (loafers, ballet slippers, etc) because I like the sliver of skin showing at my ankle. I also like to roll them above short boots with some sock showing.

Hmm I'm just worried that if I get them cropped, I'll start to regret it if I want that extra length again (& once cropped trousers fall out of trend again) lol! I don't have a very casual style though, so I will mainly wear them with loafers & boots (these trainers in these pictures are because I was on the way to the gym after work, lol!)

The lenght looks cute. You may want to have them altered into a crop just aboe the ankle that will wear well with spring outfits and lighter booties/tennis.

I'm not generally one to wear jeans (I find the stiff denim, buttons & zippers too uncomfortable for casual wear, most of the time) but I have this pair of dark blue wash, stretchy jeans that I never wear, so I'm trying to figure out how to style them. Do you think the thin rolled cuff works with my leg length? Would a thicker cuff cut my leg up too much (horizontally)?
