VC petite sizing tends to run weird for me -- the SP tends to be too long and too loose (to the effect that I have to wonder how it can even be called "petite" -- but then again I know that my girls are 3-1/2 inches taller than me at that makes an enormous difference). Whereas&nbsp;the XSP is scaled perfectly for my height but can often be too tight for my curves.&nbsp;I am crossing fingers that this one will work in the XSP&nbsp;since it's designed to be loose.&nbsp;</p> <p>I'm also curious about the weight - is it more of a fall weight, or will it work in the winter. The color, the style, everything. Including the fact it has full length and not bracelet or cropped length sleeves (totally impractical in the winter, even with elbow length&nbsp;long gloves).&nbsp;</p> <p>To do this oversized look, I absolutely need petites. I've been disappointed that there's been slim pickings in&nbsp;petite coats that are both trendy shapes AND non-neutral/expected colors (black, red, camel, grey.... snore......).&nbsp;</p> <p>I have no idea if this style will work for me since I haven't tried on anything like it yet. But in my imagination, it will work, provided the proportions are just so for 5'0 tall me. I went with the XSP.
