It was early morning here, I got up and went to my yoga class then dropped the navy pants off at the tailors on the way home so it was good to get feedback before I made the decision to alter them.&nbsp; They are a good brand (country road) and were quite expensive at the time so I think I am going to make a good effort to wear them cropped this spring.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />Its good to see that the wide leg pants are a yes for some people.&nbsp; I guess Phoebe makes a good point that I would probably reach for something else if they are not a favourite.&nbsp; &nbsp;As Angie said if I have to keep pulling them up, its going to be annoying, they also have the potential to fall off my hips.&nbsp; They are a donation because they are too small for my sister. I might ask my friends if any of them are interested as they are a nice linen.&nbsp;&nbsp;<br />The top I really like the colour and I'm going to try with jeans. I don't have cream jeans as LJP suggested, but do have some faded blue jeans. Generally pants aren’t worth the alterations. Are they elastic at the top with no darts, pleats, or pockets? If yes, it might be worth slimming the sides and re-threading the elastic. But they are such a cool color and I like the general idea of them so much. Taking them in would mean more than just the waist—can you ask your alterations place how much? Then again, at the end of winter you’re probably at your heaviest weight, so it would be an even bigger job. </p> <p>Wouldn’t reverse manifestation be nice? They fit beautifully around the waist but I’m thinking of cropping them. I’ve cuffed them here and wondered if the shorter crop looks better.<br /> The khaki top is one my sister has given me. I like the colour but wonder about the style. She has also sent these wide pants which are far too big for me and are hanging on my hips here. My first thought Is to pass on but I feel a bit uncomfortable as she has given them to me. Could I crop these and take them in as well? </p>
