I shy away from the skirts that I think look best on me--above the knee....unless I am at the beach.&nbsp; So, I hoped pedal pushers were an alternative. I'm not petite (5'5"), but I do live in Atlanta and I'm an hourglass. I wear cropped pants from April/May through Sept/Oct, depending on our crazy weather. Getting the length and width of the leg opening right are the keys to keeping your legs looking as long as possible. For me, I like mine to end about 6" above the ankle and be slim enough to just skim over my calf (not get stuck on) when I'm in and out of the car all day. I have most of mine altered to get the length/width I want.</p> <p>We had an Atlanta meet-up in March. I bought them 2 summers ago while visiting the U.S. </p> <p>I am a curvy hourglass and only an inch over the petite height cut off of 5'3".</p> <p>I also bought crops from Banana Republic, their Hampton line.
