But I can see why you have doubts. Because the fit of these jeans is relaxed overall, you aren't exactly getting the whole on-trend 'cropped flare' look with these boots. I think the flares could be a tad shorter----1 or 2" higher than they are now. I also think you'll get the proportions just right when you wear these with slip on sneakers, oxfords or any other flat/heeled shoes and sandals. Try them with shoes other than boots, assess how you like the proportions, and then decide if you want to shorten them.
