Claire it was the Chanel esque styling which appealed to me I love the jackets everyone is sporting but they are a bit smart for my lifestyle so I did have high hopes this would fit the bill. I wonder if it would soften up once washed? X

Yes, on the right track for sure. I liked the little Chanel style buttons on the pocket flaps. Better luck on the next one.

I think my query on fit is accademic now, I've worn it for a few hours and it's rather rough inside the sleeves so back it goes :-((( x

I like it! I see what Inge is saying; maybe black tights or leggings would make it feel more cropped by creating that never ending leg line? I do want you to keep it - it's so pretty!

This cardi has 2 buttons right at the top. I too was umming and ahhing as to whether it needed to be more cropped. Yes you do spy Hunter's, blue sparkly ones I'm in love x

That's a beautiful cardigan, Louise!

Take this with a grain of salt, since I'm really not an expert on this:

for this particular dress (I think it's A-line?) I would either go with:
- this cardigan but slightly more cropped
- a slighly looser one of which you can button the middle button, from the pic I can't see if this is possible with the current cardigan?

But if you can I'd definitely keep this one too, it's great!

P.S. Do I see Hunter wellies in the background? You lucky duck!-)

I've been looking for a cropped topper to wear over dresses and tunics. Haven't had much luck finding a cropped jacket so turned my attentions to cardigans.

I can't decide if this is too boxy? Or if I need something more cropped and fitted? x
