Depends on the label. But then I recently tried on a pair of Pilcro pants, in which I’ve always been a reliable 29, and the 30 was tight (and all my old pants are still fitting so it’s not me!). I’m not typically a big fan of most crochet, since a lot of it is very boho or crafty looking, but I like the way this pattern is graphic and reminiscent of a large scale Battenberg lace, as has been mentioned. </p> <p>I still have the long sleeve ba&amp;sh lace top I wore in Seattle years ago for our meetup, but it’s just a titch snug in the bust now. It appealed to me enough that I placed an order for it. </p> <p>As I put this in my Finds, I noticed that Angie has been assembling a collection of crocheted items, so I’m getting the jump on her a little bit, but I hope she doesn’t mind! It does seem to be trending, so I thought I’d share this. </p> <p>It arrived and I’m pleased with the color, quality and fit. It’s the kind of thing you definitely need to layer over something unless you’re young and/or fit and/or unshy about showing some skin. For me, it’s a piece to layer over a tank or cami, maybe even over something with a sleeve in cooler weather. </p> <p>It’s one size, and it fits me closer than the model, obviously — I’m about a US size 8 on top at the moment and the fit is just roomy enough that it layers nicely and skims the body. It just hits my hip, perhaps a little higher than the model here? It would probably not work for anyone larger than a size 10-12 on top. </p> <p>I’ll try to do a little styling and take some pics at some point, but it’s a pretty summer piece for those of us who don’t like all the frillier, super boho stuff out now but would like a little trendy addition to the summer closet. </p>
